Part 97 Map includes maps of Line A, the National Radio Quiet Zone, a large unnamed region in Colorado and Wyoming, the area surrounding the White Sands Missile Range, the Arecibo Observatory, and numerous FCC monitoring stations, all of which are mentioned the FCCs Part 97 regulations for amateur radio.
Some of the geographic references in Part 97 are clear and precise, but others are more ambiguous. Especially with Line A and White Sands, its better to think in terms of a fuzzy boundary with some thickness to it, as opposed to a sharp dividing line. In the detail screens, Ive tried to communicate the scope of different interpretations you might encounter and the reasons behind them.
Please keep in mind that nothing here should be mistaken for legal advice. That said, Ive put lots of careful effort into providing accurate information, so I hope and expect that you will find these maps illuminating and useful.
